Sam DiFranco is Co-Founder and the Executive Business Director at Star Point Counseling Center. He will answer any questions you may have regarding counseling services, your insurance benefits, and the sliding scale. Sam will help set up your appointment in an easy and hassle-free manner. Sam is also captain of an ice hockey team.
Clarissa Crystal-Belle, Licensed Mental Health Counselor (L.M.H.C.), is Co-Founder and the Executive Clinical Director at Star Point Counseling Center. She has over 20 years of clinical therapy experience and has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) since 1997. With Clarissa's extensive experience providing therapy for children, teens, individuals, couples, and families, she has helped many people with issues of depression, stress, anxiety, relationships, family dynamic issues, separation and divorce, grief and loss, parenting skills, PTSD, repeated negative behavior, addictions, as well as provided successful marriage counseling, couples counseling, and family counseling. Clarissa works very closely with the Registered Interns supervising all of their cases to insure all clients receive the quality of care they deserve. All of the Registered Intern's can help people with stress, depression, anxiety, marriage counseling, relationship counseling, couples counseling, family counseling, family dynamics, children counseling, parenting skills, grief and loss and pre marital counseling.
Clarissa recently published a new book called Therapy in Action. She takes on the toughest, neediest kids and families in her role as a therapist for troubled children. In this fascinating glimpse into real-life case studies, Clarissa seeks to “awaken the reader to a new way of looking at this population and a more effective way to address their needs.”
Frances J. "Tansie" Walker, Ed.s, L.M.H.C.
Tansie received her B.S. in Psychology and Sociology from Georgia State University, she received her M.S. in Community Counseling from Georgia State University and her Ed.s in Family Systems Counseling from Georgia State University. Tansie has a tremendous amount of experience in couples counseling, marriage counseling, family counseling, family dynamics, family systems, helping people who are suffering from depression, stress, anxiety, bi polar disorder and trauma.
Audra Colleen Davis, L.M.H.C. (Colleen)
Colleen received her B.A. in Psychology from West Virginia University. Colleen received her M.A. in counseling from Marshall University Graduate College. Colleen headed the NAMI (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill) meetings at WVU-P. Colleen has extensive experience with couples counseling, marriage counseling,, teens, children and individuals. She has helped people with depression, anxiety, stress, abuse victims, diverse cultures, substance abuse, chronically mentally ill and clients in crisis.
Charles Rhodes, Ph.D., L.M.H.C.
Charles Rhodes is a psychotherapist specializing in individual, couples and family psychotherapy, and maintains a private practice in Lutz, FL.
With over 35 years experience as a clinician, and a graduate of West Virginia University specializing in sex therapy and hypnosis he is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients.
Among his areas of expertise are sexual issues, relationships, parenting, stress management, anger management, habit cessation, and conflict resolution.
In addition, Dr. Rhodes has presented at State conferences and to general audiences on topics ranging from Use of Early Recollections in Therapy to Relationships and Parent Education.
Dr. Rhodes is a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist. His treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. He incorporates a blend of conventional and alternatives approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. With sensitivity and compassion, he works with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.

Steve Foster, L.M.H.C.
Steve received his M.S. in Mental Health from Troy University. Steve also has a M.A. in Business Administration from Touro University International and a M.S. in International Relations from Troy University. Steve completed his post Masters Degree two-year Registered Internship under the supervision of Clarissa Crystal-Belle, L.M.H.C. at Star Point Counseling Center. Steve is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional as well as a Registered Yoga Teacher. He has a broad range of experience in helping individuals, couples counseling and family counseling overcome anxiety, stress, improve communication skills, as well as counseling for separation and divorce, family dynamics, marriage counseling, depression, as well as other challenges.
Tiffany Miller, L.M.H.C.
Tiffany received her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University as a member of Chi Sigma Iota National Honor Society. Tiffany received her B.S. in Business Administration from South University. Tiffany has experience children, teens, couples, adults and seniors. Tiffany has experience in couples counseling, marriage counseling, relationship counseling, depression, anxiety, stress, emotional dysfunctions and family counseling. Tiffany believes in helping the clients achieve a balance in their lives. Tiffany also has experience in crisis counseling.
Aleida E. Hernandez, L.M.H.C.
Aleida received her M.A. in Counselor Education in 1989 and became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in 1997. Aleida is bi lingual and has extensive experience helping people with intensive crisis as well as helping couples, families, teens and children with stress, anxiety, bi polar disorder and depression. Aleida also helps couples with couples counseling, marriage counseling, family counseling & family dynamics.
Aleida has provided extensive mental health and social services to those with chronic and acute physical, mental/emotional, substance abuse and behavioral challenges. She has worked in a variety of settings, including community outpatient, private practice, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization programs.
Claire Ziegler, Registered Intern Mental Health Counselor
Claire received her B.A. from University of Richmond (UR) in Political Science and Psychology, Minors in Law and the Liberal Arts.
Claire received her M.A. in Mental Health Counseling and Rehabilitation from The University of South Florida in 2014 where she was a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Claire has experience working with families, adults, and teens as well as experience with marriage counseling, couples counseling, and relationship counseling. Claire also has experience helping people with anxiety, depression, stress, and communication issues.
Abby Mills, Registered Intern Mental Health Counselor
Abby graduated with an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling. Abby has worked for several social services agencies in Virginia and Florida, and has been with Star Point Counseling since August of 2012. She has experience in trauma, physical and sexual abuse, substance dependence and abuse, depression, anxiety, anger management, marriage counseling, couples counseling and family counseling.
Shannon Savage, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Shannon received her M.A. in Counselor Education from the University of South Florida and her B.S. in Psychology with honors from University of Florida. Shannon has experience with children, families, and relationship counseling. Shannon works with people with depression, stress, marriage counseling, couples counseling, anxiety, behavior issues, and communication issues.
Stephanie Kelly, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Stephanie received her M. A. in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University. Stephanie received her B.A. in Psychology/ Liberal Arts from University of Central Florida. Stephanie has experience with couples counseling, marriage counseling, stress, depression, anxiety, children, teens, family dynamics and child abuse.
Shane M. Hall, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Shane received his B.A. in Psychology, Cum Laud, from College of Arts and Science in 2007. He received his M.A. in Clinical Mental Health from University of South Florida in 2012. Shane has extensive experience with children, teens, special needs children, substance abuse, couples counseling, marriage counseling, stress, anxiety, depression, ADD and ADHD.
Leslie Loanzon, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Leslie received her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health from Troy University. She received her B.S in Psychology from Florida State University. Leslie has experience providing therapy for substance abuse, crisis intervention, psychological assessments, depression, anxiety, stress, marriage counseling, couples counseling, family counseling, teen and child counseling and communication skills.
Brittany Russell, Receptionist and Billing Specialist
Brittany graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from University of Wisconsin-River Falls and with a Minor in Criminal Justice. Brittany is working on her Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling. Brittany has been a part of our team for almost 2 years and is now working on her on the job practicum and internship for her Masters Degree. She is only in the office on Fridays now due to strict school and internship schedule.
