Manage Work-Related Stress.

The average person spends most of their life working, so it’s not surprising that work can have a significant impact on your health. Too much job-related stress can result in the development of certain mental health disorders like anxiety and depression, as well as drug abuse, alcoholism and gambling.

Take the steps to manage your work related stress, try these tips:

  1. Establish boundaries. Make a rule not to check your work email at home, or not to answer the phone while at dinner. You must separate your work and home life.

  2. Take time to recharge. Take small breaks at work to recharge, and when possible take time off to relax and unwind. Don’t let vacation time go to waste, leave all work related items at home.
